PET Contributes to Renewable Energy Communities in the Western Balkans

PET co-founder Tanja Popovicki participated in the panel "Presentation of Key Experiences and Case Studies – Emilia-Romagna Experiences in the Promotion of Energy Communities" at the event "Renewable Energy Communities: Engine of Cohesion in the Western Balkans," held on March 6–7 in Rimini, Italy. This panel focused on sharing successful models from the Emilia-Romagna region to inspire similar initiatives in the Western Balkans.

The event marked the launch of the EU-funded project, "Better Cohesion in the Western Balkans through the Development of Energy Communities," aiming to foster regional cooperation and sustainable energy practices. Notable participants included high-level EU officials, energy experts, and representatives from various organizations dedicated to the green transition.

The two-day event featured keynote speeches from EU officials and energy experts, policy discussions on regulatory frameworks and the green energy transition, and networking opportunities with industry leaders and stakeholders
