With nearly a decade of experience in public relations, Milica Marković is passionate about using strategic storytelling to inspire action, build trust, and strengthen PET’s voice in the fight for environmental changes. Her expertise in media relations, communication, and content strategy helps amplify important messages, engage diverse audiences, and drive meaningful change.

Milica’s journey in communications began in the automotive sector, where she worked with brands like BMW, MINI, and Honda. While gaining valuable experience in media strategy and public outreach, she also developed a deep awareness of corporate responsibility and the power of effective messaging in shaping public perceptions. She later expanded her expertise at LBS TEAM, a marketing and communication agency, where she led strategic communications, media relations, and crisis management for global clients such as Microsoft across multiple regions.

Her ability to navigate complex issues, particularly during high-stakes moments, was recognized as a best practice by BMW AG during the challenges of the 2020 pandemic. Now, she brings this same strategic mindset and adaptability to PET, helping to elevate environmental issues, strengthen advocacy efforts, and support the organization’s mission.

Beyond public relations, Milica has a strong background in environmental journalism, having served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Energetski portal. Leading a team of journalists, she managed both online and print editions, further refining her ability to craft compelling narratives that inform and inspire action.

At PET, Milica is dedicated to creating impactful communication strategies that raise awareness, engage communities, and drive policy change. She believes in the power of storytelling to make sustainability a priority for individuals, businesses, and policymakers alike.
