Marko Nedeljkovic
Marko Nedeljkovic is a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience in the non-governmental sector, specializing in youth work, human rights, and public advocacy.
Marko's journey began with the European Youth Parliament (EYP), where he played a key role in developing and facilitating peer-to-peer education programs. Through EYP, he empowered young people to engage in dialogue, critical thinking, and democratic participation, helping them develop the skills necessary to become active citizens. Marko's commitment to human rights was further strengthened through his work with the Moot Court Club Iustitia. He organized and led numerous workshops and training sessions on human rights protection and legal education, focusing on marginalized communities, particularly on the European Convention on Human Rights.
In the field of public advocacy and policy analysis, Marko contributed to the development of youth policies through his engagement with the National Youth Council of Serbia (KOMS). He participated in creating policy recommendations and awareness-raising campaigns aimed at improving the status of young people in Serbia. His efforts fostered dialogue between youth organizations and decision-makers, ensuring that the voices of young people are heard in the policymaking process. In addition to his work in the NGO sector, Marko has gained valuable HR and compliance experience in the corporate sector. This background has provided him with a well-rounded understanding of organizational processes, employee engagement, and corporate governance.
Marko has been actively engaged in topics related to sustainable development and climate change for many years. These interests, combined with his NGO and advocacy experience, led him to his current role as Project Manager at Platform for Energy Transition. He is particularly involved in bringing young people into discussions on energy transition through PET Youth Net, promoting youth engagement and participation in building a sustainable future.
